Eva Montibello

Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer

Eva Montibello is the Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer of Speaking Out Safely with responsibilities including media, advocacy, education, survivorship programming and overall operations of the organization. Eva recently crossed over to the non-profit world after having spent her career in marketing, public relations, media and training in a variety of corporate settings in high technology, interior design and recruiting industries. She was previously Director of Marketing and Business Development at one of the most profitable franchisees of Panera Bread (Boston Bread) where she oversaw media relations, sales, customer service excellence and raised over $100,000 for the company’s Boston-area non-profit donation partner. As a volunteer, Eva has worked on Senate and House bills including eliminating the statute of limitations for child sexual abuse and supporting mandatory minimums for sex offenders. Eva holds a Masters of Science degree in Communications Management from Simmons College where she completed her thesis on the topic of powerful communications frameworks for child sexual abuse organizations.
