Director of Standing Strong
Vita Chiarenza is the Director of Standing Strong, focusing on domestic violence prevention and advocacy at Speaking Out Safely. She has worked for the Department of Public Health as a Case Manager, providing crisis intervention, counseling and support for homeless families. As a Mental Health Clinician, she has vast experience performing psychosocial assessments, screenings and services for mental health, substance abuse and domestic violence. She has devoted her life’s work to trauma and abuse in numerous organizations and agencies, including Northeast Behavioral Health, MSPCC, ROCA, MA Department of Social Services and Catholic Charities. As Director of Standing Strong at Speaking Out Safely, Vita will add her personal strength and courageous spirit to help survivors stand strong as they walk through the difficulties of the legal process. Vita holds a Masters of Social Work from Salem State College. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Simmons College. Vita can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
